If you suffer with on going back pain or discomfort, or recurring injuries, more often than not you will receive treatment and advice that has a short term effect. This is usually because the site of pain or injury is treated only. Here, at Ashwood Health, we carry out a comprehensive Biomechanical screening as well as that of the obvious history, and signs and symptoms.

Through these assessments we can gather information as to what state your body is in, biomechanically, and what the possible influences may be inhibiting factors, the short term effectiveness of treatments and other advice you may have been given.

Once the screening is complete, we can decide what treatment is appropriate, including remedial massage, stretching and flexibility work, and any other additional variations. You will receive an individual remedial programme to take home with you. These will be explained clearly, so you understand why they are being done and what is expected in the way of progression.
